Union Minister for Heavy Industries and Steel Shri H.D. Kumaraswamy inaugurated the three-day SIAT 2026 symposium in Pune, organised by ARAI during its Diamond Jubilee Year, focusing on safe, sustainable, and future-ready mobility solutions. He highlighted India’s rapid economic growth, electric mobility push, and key government initiatives like FAME-II, PM E-DRIVE, and PLI schemes to strengthen EV adoption and advanced manufacturing. The Minister reaffirmed India’s commitment to net-zero emissions by 2070 and Aatmanirbhar Bharat through innovation-driven automotive development.
