  • During its Golden Jubilee celebration, Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh announced that Central Electronics Limited (CEL) has been granted "Mini RATNA" status (Category-1) in recognition of its financial stability, profitability, and operational excellence over recent years.
  • Celebrating 50 years of service, CEL has transformed from a loss-making PSU to a profitable one, with a commendable net profit of approximately Rs 58 crore and has paid dividends to the Government of India for three consecutive years. 
  • The celebration was graced by the Hon'ble Vice President of India, Shri. Jagdeep Dhankhar.
  • CEL has made significant contributions in Defence, Railway, Security, Surveillance, and Solar energy sectors, promoting indigenous technologies. 
  • The company is set to diversify its product portfolio by rolling out production of Smart Boards, impacting smart education implementation in schools across the country.
