Union Minister for Agriculture Farmers Welfare and Tribal Affairs Shri Arjun Munda laid the foundation stone of the country's first state-of-the-art large honey testing laboratory and integrated beekeeping development center, bamboo culture project and other projects in Ranchi.
Foundation stones were laid for development centres of bamboo culture and beekeeping, which will provide new opportunities to farmers.
Initiatives have been taken to create a hub of sweet revolution in Jharkhand, which will provide more markets and export opportunities to the producers of the region.
Honey testing laboratories will help in ensuring the quality of honey produced, which will give more credibility to the growers.
