Union Minister for Youth Affairs and Sports, Anurag Singh Thakur inaugurated the National level Kabaddi championship in Udupi in Karnatakaon December 24.
Twelve teams from various states will compete in a national level Kabaddi competition at MGM Ground under floodlights.
The Atal trophy will be given to the champions.
The Atal Trophy was established by the Zilla Yuva Morcha in 1999 through a volleyball competition, and this time a kabaddi competition is also being held.
