  • Union Minister for Youth Affairs and Sports, Anurag Singh Thakur inaugurated the National level Kabaddi championship in Udupi in Karnatakaon December 24.
  • Twelve teams from various states will compete in a national level Kabaddi competition at MGM Ground under floodlights.
  • The Atal trophy will be given to the champions.
  • The Atal Trophy was established by the Zilla Yuva Morcha in 1999 through a volleyball competition, and this time a kabaddi competition is also being held.
