  • Union Health Minister Jagat Prakash Nadda will launch two major national initiatives, SAHI and BODH, at the India AI Summit at Bharat Mandapam to strengthen AI adoption in healthcare. SAHI (Strategy for Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare for India) is a national guidance framework that ensures ethical, safe, and evidence-based AI deployment, supporting states and health institutions with governance, monitoring, and public health alignment.
  • BODH (Benchmarking Open Data Platform for Health AI), developed by IIT Kanpur and the National Health Authority, enables evaluation of AI models using real-world health data while preserving privacy, acting as a digital public good under the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission. Together, these initiatives aim to create a safe, transparent, and globally competitive Health AI ecosystem, encouraging innovation, building public trust, and positioning India as a leader in digital health transformation.
