Key features include ambitious production targets expanding pulse cultivation to 310 lakh hectares and raising production to 350 lakh tonnes by 2030-31, along with multi-location trials for high-yielding, pest-resistant varieties, widespread seed distribution, and assured procurement under the Price Support Scheme for Tur, Urad, and Masoor.
