Kareena Kapoor Khan appointed as UNICEF India's National Ambassador, marking the organization's 75th year of partnership with India.
Khan's role focuses on advocating for children's rights, including early childhood development, education, and gender equality.
UNICEF India also introduces its first-ever Youth Advocates, empowering young leaders to champion issues like climate action, mental health, and innovation.
The Youth Advocates, between 16 to 24 years old, hail from diverse backgrounds and have specific areas of interest, such as disability inclusion and STEM.
UNICEF India Representative Cynthia McCaffrey highlighted Khan's long-term commitment and influence in advancing children's rights.
