  • According to recent data, the unemployment rate has decreased in Uttar Pradesh.
  • It has come down to 2.60% during the financial year 2022-23.
  • Whereas in the last financial year the same unemployment rate was 6.0%.
  • This report was released in the Periodic Labor Force Survey by the Union Ministry of Statistics and Program Implementation.
  • According to the report, the unemployment rate has decreased by 3.80 percent in the last 6 years.
  • Now the unemployment rate in the state has become less than the national average.
  • The national average of unemployment is 3.40%.
  • Last year the average unemployment rate in the country was 6.1%.
