Uma Mahesh won a Gold medal at the FISU World University Championship in the 10m Air Rifle men's team event, held at Karni Singh Stadium, New Delhi.
The 20-year-old shooter from Vijaywada, Andhra Pradesh, trains at Gagan Narang's Gun for Glory Academy and has won multiple prestigious titles, including two ISSF World Cup golds.
