Ukraine's Yaroslava Mahuchikh set a new world record in the women's high jump with a height of 2.10 meters at the Diamond League meet in Paris.
The reigning world champion achieved this milestone just three weeks before the Paris Games, providing an ideal boost before the Olympics.
Mahuchikh's record surpassed the previous world record of 2.09 meters, set by Bulgaria's Stefka Kostadinova in 1987, breaking one of track and field's longest-standing records.
