  • The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has launched the Global Media Congress (GMC), a platform to boost business connections and foster innovation in the media sector.
  • The event, which runs under the theme of "Shaping the Future of the Media Industry," has gathered more than 1,200 media practitioners, experts and social media influencers from across the world.
  • The conference-cum-exhibition Congress is organised by ADNEC Group in partnership with Emirates News Agency (WAM).
  • Over 10,000 delegates and media-related companies are participating in the launch edition of the Global Media Congress.
