Vietnam has been severely impacted by Typhoon Bualoi, the country’s most destructive storm of 2025. As of now, 19 people have died and 21 remain missing. The storm, which hit the north-central coast on Monday, triggered torrential rains, strong winds, and massive waves, leading to severe flooding and landslides. Vietnam’s long coastline along the South China Sea makes it highly vulnerable to typhoons and related natural disasters, emphasizing the need for heightened preparedness in the region.
