  • Two national youth records were set in athletics events at the Khelo India Youth Games in Madhya Pradesh.
  • Delhi's Sonam created a new record in 200 metre steeplechase with a timing of 6.45.71 minutes. While, Siddharth Chaudhary of Rajasthan set a new record of 21.04 meters in shot put.
  • In athletics, the overall championship in the boys' category was won by Madhya Pradesh and in the girls' category by Maharashtra. 
  • In the medal tally, Maharashtra is at the first position with 79 medals including 26 gold medals. 
  • Haryana is second with a total of 53 medals including 22 gold and host Madhya Pradesh is third with 21 gold medals. Madhya Pradesh also has 53 medals.
