Two national youth records were set in athletics events at the Khelo India Youth Games in Madhya Pradesh.
Delhi's Sonam created a new record in 200 metre steeplechase with a timing of 6.45.71 minutes. While, Siddharth Chaudhary of Rajasthan set a new record of 21.04 meters in shot put.
In athletics, the overall championship in the boys' category was won by Madhya Pradesh and in the girls' category by Maharashtra.
In the medal tally, Maharashtra is at the first position with 79 medals including 26 gold medals.
Haryana is second with a total of 53 medals including 22 gold and host Madhya Pradesh is third with 21 gold medals. Madhya Pradesh also has 53 medals.
