  • To commemorate the 24th anniversary of India’s victory in the Kargil War (Kargil Vijay Diwas) and celebrate the strength of women, the Indian Army organized a special event called the ‘Nari Sashaktikaran Women Motorcycle Rally.’ 
  • The rally, consisting of all-women participants, started at the National War Memorial in Delhi and will conclude at the Kargil War Memorial in Dras, Ladakh.
  • The Chief of the Army Staff, General Manoj Pande, flagged off the rally at the National War Memorial in the presence of Mrs. Archana Pande, Chairperson of the Army Wives Welfare Association, as well as other military and civilian dignitaries, including representatives from TVS Motor Company and other sponsors.
  • It aims to honor the bravery and determination of women while commemorating India’s victory in the Kargil War.
  • The Indian Army has partnered with TVS Motor Company for this event, and the participants will be riding on TVS Ronin motorcycles.
