  • The Chairman of the Lokpal of India, Shri Justice Ajay Manikrao Khanwilkar administered the oath of office to the following persons as Judicial Members and Members of the Lokpal of India at a ceremony held at the Lokpal Complex of India, New Delhi:

  • Shri Justice Lingappa Narayana Swamy
  • Shri Justice Sanjay Yadav
  • Mr. Justice Lingappa Narayana Swamy, before contributing as a judicial member of the Lokpal of India, was the Chief Justice of the Himachal Pradesh High Court and is a former judge of the Karnataka High Court.
  • Shri Justice Sanjay Yadav, before contributing as a judicial member of the Lokpal of India, was the Chief Justice of the Allahabad High Court and is a former judge of the Allahabad High Court and the Madhya Pradesh High Court.
  • Shri Sushil Chandra is an IRS (IT) officer of 1980 batch. Prior to contributing as a member of the Lokpal of India, he was the 24th Chief Election Commissioner of India and previously served as the Chairman of the Central Board of Direct Taxes.
