Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Commonwealth Legal Education Association (CLEA) – Commonwealth Attorneys and Solicitors General's Conference (CASGC) 2024 on February 3, 2024.
The theme of the conference will be "Trans-border Challenges in Justice Delivery".
Key discussions included judicial changes, ethical aspects of legal practice, executive accountability, and reassessment on contemporary legal education.
The conference was attended by attorneys generals and solicitors from Commonwealth countries of Asia-Pacific, Africa and the Caribbean, as well as various international delegations.
It focused primarily on developing a comprehensive roadmap to address challenges in legal education and enhance international justice delivery.
