  • The Geospatial Energy Map of India was launched by the NITI Aayog to present a full view of energy production and distribution in a country, the map seeks to identify and locate all primary and secondary energy sources, as well as associated transportation networks.
  • With the help of the Indian Energy Ministries, NITI Aayog developed a comprehensive Geographic Information System Energy Map in conjunction with the Indian Space Research Organisation.
