The National Archives of India launched "The Oman Collection," its first international project, to digitize and preserve documents of the Indian diaspora in Oman.
Over 7,000 historical documents, dating back to 1838 and in multiple languages, were digitized, showcasing the rich heritage and contributions of the Indian community in Oman.
This initiative highlights the collaborative efforts between India and Oman in preserving historical records, strengthening bilateral ties, and making these valuable resources accessible for future generations.
