France has topped the Henley Passport Index 2024, in which it has visa-free access to 194 countries.
Given the rich relations and world-level influence of the EU member states, other European countries like Germany, Italy, Spain are also in the top spots.
India has increased its visa-free access to 62 countries for its citizens but has dropped one place and is now at 85th position.
Maldives, which is India's maritime neighbour, ranked 58th with visa-free access to 96 countries
