Telangana Super Thermal Power Project

The first phase of Telangana Super Thermal Power Project was recently inaugurated by the Prime Minister.
The generation capacity of the first phase of this project is 800 MW.
This power plant is located in Peddapalli district of Telangana.
The second plant of this project will also be commissioned soon and upon its completion, the installed capacity of the power plant will increase to 4000 MW.
The foundation stone of Telangana Super Thermal Power Project was laid by the Prime Minister in the year 2019.
This project is under National Thermal Power Corporation Limited (NTPC).
