In Telangana, the state-organised Bathukamma Festival set two new Guinness World Records on the evening of the celebration at Saroornagar Stadium, Hyderabad. The first record was for the largest Bathukamma floral arrangement, weighing around seven tonnes and measuring 63.11 feet in height and 11 feet in width. The second record was for the most highly synchronised performance by women, with 1,354 participants. Guinness World Records representatives officially verified the achievements and presented certificates to State Tourism Minister Krishna Rao and Women Development Minister Anasuya Sitakka.
