  • India’s fifth largest information technology firm has appointed Mohit Joshi as its managing director and CEO for a period of five years with effect from December 20, 2023. 
  • Joshi will replace CP Gurnani, who is set to retire in December.
  • Joshi resigned as president of Infosys after a 22-year stint at the country’s second largest IT firm.
  • The new candidate would take over as MD and CEO of the company when C.P. Gurnani, who is currently CEO & Managing Director of Tech Mahindra, and also one of the longest-serving chief executive officers of the Indian IT sector, retires on December 19, 2023.
  • Prior to joining Infosys in 2000, he worked with ABN AMRO and ANZ Grindlays in their Corporate and Investment bank.
