Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has partnered with the Indian Institute of Technology-Bombay (IIT-Bombay) to develop India's first quantum diamond microchip imager.
Over the next two years, TCS experts will work with Dr. Kasturi Saha from IIT-Bombay to create this innovative tool.
The quantum diamond microchip imager will enhance precision in examining semiconductor chips, reduce chip failures, and improve the energy efficiency of electronic devices.
Using Nitrogen-Vacancy (NV) centers in diamonds, the tool will map semiconductor chips non-invasively, benefiting industries like communications, computing, healthcare, military systems, transportation, and clean energy.
