  • It was deployed into low-earth orbit from the Kennedy Space Center, Florida, via SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket on April 7.
  • TSAT-1A, assembled at TASL's Vemagal facility in Karnataka, offers high-resolution optical satellite images with multispectral and hyperspectral capabilities.
  • With a resolution ranging from 0.5 to 0.8 meters, it is expected to cater to various sectors, including the Indian armed forces, with its increased collection capacity and low-latency delivery.
