Tamil Nadu will implement an AI-based early warning system to prevent deaths of wild elephants, as announced in October 2023.
Or system E.W.S. Will be implemented on Ettimadai-Walayar railway section.
This section connects Kerala to Tamil Nadu.
Thermal imaging cameras have been installed on all the towers adjacent to the railway line to detect the movement of elephants.
At 7.5 km of this railway section, this A. I. device has been installed.
