Amateur tennis player Jordan Smith from Sydney earned a prize of A$1 million after clinching the ‘One Point Slam’ tournament held ahead of the Australian Open.
The competition featured amateurs competing against 24 top professionals, including Carlos Alcaraz, Jannik Sinner and Iga Swiatek. Smith, who qualified as the New South Wales State champion, defeated Sinner and Amanda Anisimova before overcoming Joanna Garland in the final.
