Surekha Yadav became the first woman loco pilot to run 'Vande Bharat'.
She operated Solapur to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminal (CSMT) in Maharashtra Vande Bharat Express.
Yadav is the first female who became a locomotive pilot in Asia.
For her achievements, Surekha also earned praise from Union Railways Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw.
Furthermore, Surekha a native of Satara in Maharashtra was the country's first female train driver.
She started her career in 1988. Also, she has received numerous honours at both the state and national levels.
Earlier in February, PM Modi flagged off the CSMT-Solapur Vande Bharat Express.
