  • The Central Government honored Surat for the best public transport and Kochi for the most sustainable transport system.
  • According to the Union Ministry of Housing and Urban Development, Delhi was awarded for non-motorized system of redevelopment projects of Shahjahanabad Redevelopment Corporation.
  • Delhi Metro awarded for 'Excellent Passenger Service and Satisfaction'. Indore was awarded for adopting the most innovative financial system. Nashik was awarded for the highest public participation in the planning of public transport.
  • Union Housing and Urban Affairs Minister Hardeep Singh Puri distributed all these awards at the 14th Urban Mobility India Conference.
