  • Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami officially opened the 'Surai Ecotourism Zone' and 'Kakra Crocodile Trail' in Khatima.
  • The Surai Ecotourism Zone will be the state's first such zone, allowing tourists to go on jungle safaris.
  • The Kakra Crocodile Trail is also the first place where tourists can safely observe the crocodile species 'Marsh.'
  • The primary goal of this scheme is to assist Khatima and surrounding areas, which have historically been underserved in terms of tourism, in achieving a high level of success.
