·         Mathematician Anand Kumar was awarded the Swami Brahmananda Award 2021 for his contribution to the field of education through his 'Super 30' initiative, which prepares underprivileged students for IIT entrance exams.

·         He received the award from Professor Roop Kishore Shastri, Vice Chancellor of Gurukul Kangri Deemed University, Haridwar at a function in Rath area of ​​Hamirpur district of Uttar Pradesh.

·         Every year Rs 10,000 in cash, a bronze medal, a bronze statue of Swami Brahmananda and a certificate are given to people doing special work in the field of education or for the welfare of the cow.

v  'Super 30' is the coaching program of Anand Kumar's Ramanujan School of Mathematics in Patna.

v  It selects 30 meritorious students from the economically backward sections of the society and prepares them to clear the exams to get admission in the prestigious Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs).
