  • Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu took oath as the 15th Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh.
  • Sukhu took oath today on 11 December at 1:30 pm, along with Mukesh Agnihotri who will be his deputy.
  • Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar administered the oath to both.
  • He is the former Himachal Pradesh Congress chief and a four-term legislator.
  • The Congress won the state of Himachal with 40 of 68 seats while the BJP claimed win in 25 constituencies.
