Recently, the State Energy Efficiency Index (SEEI) 2024 was released by the Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE) with AEEE. It reviewed 36 States/UTs on 66 indicators across 7 sectors. Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Assam and Tripura emerged as top performers. 24 states notified the Energy Conservation Building Code, 31 states adopted e-mobility policies, and Kerala led in solar-powered farm pumps with 74% adoption.
