  • Leading stock exchange BSE board has appointed S S Mundra, a public interest director, as the chairman of the bourse.
  • Mundra will replace Justice Vikramajit Sen.
  • Mundra was appointed as Public Interest Director at BSE in January 2018. 
  • He retired as Deputy Governor of Reserve Bank of India on 30th July 2017 after completing a stint of three years.
  • Prior to this, he was serving as the Chairman and Managing Director of Bank of Baroda.
