The "Sri Lanka-India Friendship Arch" was inaugurated at the National Sandalwood Garden in Sri Jayawardenepura Kotte by Sri Lankan Parliament Speaker Mahinda Yapa Abeyawardena and Indian High Commissioner Santosh Jha as part of the Plant4Mother campaign.
Sri Lankan Minister Prasanna Ranatunga, along with members of the Sri Lanka-India Parliamentary Friendship Association, participated in the event by planting Murutha saplings, symbolizing a joint commitment to environmental sustainability.
