SpiceJet chief Ajay Singh has taken over as President of the Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India (ASSOCHAM).
Singh replaces Renew Chairman & CEO Sumant Sinha, who completed his tenure as the industry body's President on 28 March.
Sanjay Nayar, the Founder and Chairman of Sorin Investment Fund is the new Senior Vice-President of ASSOCHAM.
Singh is also the President of the Boxing Federation of India and Vice President of the International Boxing Association.
The Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India (ASSOCHAM)is a non-governmental trade association and advocacy group based in New Delhi, India.
The organisation represents the interests of trade and commerce in India, and acts as an interface between issues and initiatives.
