  • This coach is a symbol of the famous rail journeys of Mahatma Gandhi, who played an important role in his mission to unite the country during the freedom struggle.
  • The coloured brown coach has the symbol 'III' inscribed on it, indicating the third class coaches in which he travelled. It has been installed at Gandhi Darshan at Rajghat here.
  • A life-size statue of Mahatma Gandhi has been installed at its feet, depicting him getting down from the bus.
  • This initiative has been taken by the Ministry of Culture.
