South Lonak Lake is located in Sikkim.
According to the recent report released by ISRO, South Lonak Lake has dried up after the cloud burst in Sikkim.
This flood was caused by the eruption of South Lonak Lake.
South Lonak Lake is an example of a glacial lake, a large body of water located near a melting glacier.
As the size of these lakes increases, they become more dangerous.
Due to the breach of the boundaries around this lake, a large amount of water flows down from the mountains.
This may cause flooding in low-lying areas, as has been seen in Sikkim.
