Shubman Gill and Deepti Sharma were honored with the prestigious Polly Umrigar Award by the BCCI (Board of Control for Cricket in India).
Shubman Gill received the award for the best men's international cricketer, while Deepti Sharma was recognized as the best women's international cricketer during the 2022-23 season.
The BCCI announced the NAMAN awards, covering multiple years. Deepti Sharma also secured the best women's international cricketer award for the 2019-20 season.
