Union Minister of Ports Sarbananda Sonowal has inaugurated the indigenous Differential Global Navigation Satellite System (DGNSS) ‘SAGAR SAMPARK’ to strengthen the maritime sector in India.
This will help sailors navigate safely and reduce the risk of collisions, grounding, and accidents in port and port areas.
It would provide more accurate information to the ships for safe navigation.
