  • Shri G Kishan Reddy has honored 102 artistes with 'Ustad Bismillah Khan Yuva Puraskar' for the years 2019, 2020 and 2021.
  • The Union Minister for Culture, Tourism and DoNER, Shri G. Kishan Reddy presented the Ustad Bismillah Khan Yuva Puraskar (UBKYP) 2019, 2020 and 2021 in New Delhi to 102 artists of India who have made a mark as young talents in their respective fields of performing arts.
  • The award is given to outstanding young artists below the age of 40 years.
  • Chairperson of Sangeet Natak Akademi, Dr. Sandhya Purecha presided over the event.
  • The President will be conferring Akademi awards after a gap of four years. 
  • Last year, then vice president M Venkaiah Naidu handed over the awards for the year 2018.
  • The Akademi Awards have been conferred since 1952.
