  • Shiva Narwal won the men’s air pistol gold as he beat Park Daehun of Korea 17-13 in the Asian Airgun championship in Daegu, Korea.
  • It was another sweep of the gold medals for the Indian team as Sagar Dangi won the junior men’s gold with a 17-13 victory over compatriot Samrat Rana.
  • Shiva Narwal defeated Daehun Park of South Korea 17-13 to take the top spot on the podium.
  • Vijayveer Sidhu of India, a two-time junior world champion in the 25-meter standard pistol, won the bronze after placing third with a score of 248.00 in the ranking round.
  • The airgun shooting championship, being held at the Daegu International Shooting Range, features competitions for juniors, youth and seniors in air rifle and air pistol events.
