Shiva Narwal won the men’s air pistol gold as he beat Park Daehun of Korea 17-13 in the Asian Airgun championship in Daegu, Korea.
It was another sweep of the gold medals for the Indian team as Sagar Dangi won the junior men’s gold with a 17-13 victory over compatriot Samrat Rana.
Shiva Narwal defeated Daehun Park of South Korea 17-13 to take the top spot on the podium.
Vijayveer Sidhu of India, a two-time junior world champion in the 25-meter standard pistol, won the bronze after placing third with a score of 248.00 in the ranking round.
The airgun shooting championship, being held at the Daegu International Shooting Range, features competitions for juniors, youth and seniors in air rifle and air pistol events.
