HCL Technologies founder Shiv Nadar retained his position as India’s most generous philanthropist in the fiscal year 2024 by donating ₹2,153 crore, averaging a daily donation of ₹5.9 crore, primarily through the Shiv Nadar Foundation.
Rohini Nilekani was recognized as the most generous woman philanthropist, donating ₹154 crore annually.
