Karnataka's M Raghu and Haryana's Devika Sihag won the men's and women's singles titles respectively for the first time at the 86th National Badminton Championships here on 24 December 2024.
Raghu saved three match points against former champion Mithun Manjunath in a very close final, winning 14-21, 21-14, 24-22 in a little less than an hour.
Devika ended the season on a high note to win the women's singles title by defeating in-form Shriyashi Valisetty 21-15, 21-16 in straight games.
