  • Karnataka's M Raghu and Haryana's Devika Sihag won the men's and women's singles titles respectively for the first time at the 86th National Badminton Championships here on 24 December 2024.
  • Raghu saved three match points against former champion Mithun Manjunath in a very close final, winning 14-21, 21-14, 24-22 in a little less than an hour.
  • Devika ended the season on a high note to win the women's singles title by defeating in-form Shriyashi Valisetty 21-15, 21-16 in straight games.
