  • SEBI has approved Praveena Rai as the new Managing Director and CEO of MCX, succeeding PS Reddy, who left the position in May.
  • Praveena Rai brings over 20 years of experience in banking and payments to her new role, having previously served as the COO of NPCI and held significant positions at Kotak Mahindra Bank, HSBC, and Citi.
  • Since PS Reddy’s departure, MCX’s operations have been managed by a special executive committee, including a Chief Risk Officer, Chief Technology Officer, Chief Business Officer, and Chief Operating Officer.
