Jyotiraditya Scindia, Union Minister for the Development of the North East Region, launched the North East Region Agri Commodity E-Connect (NERACE) app.
It aims to promote agricultural and horticultural products from the Northeast, positioning the region as a hub for high-value commodities in the global market.
The NERACE app is designed to facilitate online trade and promote products such as spices, fruits, vegetables, pulses, cereals, and minor forest products.
It seeks to enhance the income of farmers by providing them with a platform to connect directly with national and international markets, thereby boosting their participation in the agricultural value chain.
