  • Jyotiraditya Scindia, Union Minister for the Development of the North East Region, launched the North East Region Agri Commodity E-Connect (NERACE) app. 
  • It aims to promote agricultural and horticultural products from the Northeast, positioning the region as a hub for high-value commodities in the global market.
  • The NERACE app is designed to facilitate online trade and promote products such as spices, fruits, vegetables, pulses, cereals, and minor forest products. 
  • It seeks to enhance the income of farmers by providing them with a platform to connect directly with national and international markets, thereby boosting their participation in the agricultural value chain.
