Mexico's Taam Ja’ Blue Hole (TJBH), located in Chetumal Bay off the Yucatan Peninsula, has been identified as the deepest blue hole on Earth, reaching a depth of 1,380 feet (420 meters) below sea level.
Scientific Study: A recent study published in Frontiers in Marine Science sheds light on the extraordinary size of the Taam Ja’ Blue Hole. New measurements obtained during a December scuba-diving expedition revealed its remarkable depth, surpassing the previous record holder by 480 feet.
