Information and Broadcasting Minister and Sports and Youth Affairs Minister Anurag Thakur met Scientist R.K. Vishnu Prasad as the Most Eminent Scientist for the year 2022.
R. Vishnu, who has got 69 patents in his name in the world of science, has been selected for this award under the Indian Achievers Award.
The award is given for outstanding contributions in various fields including culture, science, sports and innovation.
Vishnu Prasad, who contributed to smart cities, solid waste management, large-scale water treatment, Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, was selected by a jury headed by Justice Gyan Sudha Mishra.
