State Bank of India has announced plans to raise up to ₹20,000 crore during FY 2025–26 by issuing Basel III-compliant Additional Tier 1 and Tier 2 bonds to domestic investors. The proposal has received board approval and awaits government clearances if required. SBI’s stock responded positively, trading at ₹831, up 1.74% on the BSE.
