The State Bank of India has developed the Video Life Certificate service, which allows retirees to submit their life certificates over the phone.
A life certificate is essential to ascertain whether the individual who will receive the pension is still alive and will continue to receive it without issue.
In terms of assets, deposits, branches, customers, and employees, the State Bank of India is the largest commercial bank in India.
It is also the country's largest mortgage provider, having helped 30 lakh Indian families realise their aspirations of owning a home.
