  • SARAS Livelihood Fair was started in Gurugram, Haryana in October, 2023.
  • This fair will be organized till 11th November.
  • In this fair, about 800 women from self-help groups from 28 states will showcase their diverse products like handicrafts, handlooms and natural food items from rural areas across the country.
  • Saras Livelihood Fair is an initiative of Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana-National Rural Livelihood Mission of the Ministry of Rural Development.
  • The event provides a platform to members of rural women self-help groups to showcase their skills, sell products and help them network with potential traders.
  • This national level fair is being organized for the second time in Gurugram.
